It started with a short list of things I wanted and didn't want on the cover. Then I researched covers of books I liked that might be useful guides for the design as my publisher looked at a visual representation for the story. Then we spent a few weeks looking at various versions, considering font, font size, image, composition, color. I have a background in visual art so I may have been a wee bit critical but ultimately, we agreed this was the best option, and I am thrilled. I couldn't have asked for a better book cover!
You'll notice that the cover art has now replaced the previous "placeholder" art on this site and is now on Facebook and Goodreads. Soon, the book will be available on all major digital platforms including iBooks, Amazon, Kindle, Kobo, etc. Mark your calendars for May 21!
Thanks again to the folks at Diversion and to my priceless agent, Melissa Sarver, who's been with me through all the steps that have led me here.
